COMMUNICATION - Working language
If I didn't speak English it would be hard for me to do my job. I handle food orders and the people I work with speak English. If I need help to understand, I ask for help.
At work, I speak and write, but I prefer speaking. When I have a choice between leaving someone a note or talking to them, I talk to them. I also call people on the phone.
Sometimes I am in charge of the entire kitchen for a shift. When the director is not in, I have to write a report so that when he comes in, he knows what has happened.
