Verena: A lot of farmers in Switzerland dream about Canada because there is lots of flat land and I think that's what got us too. In the 1980's, many Swiss farmers came to Canada and we heard about that back home.

Daniel: We'd seen lots of pictures from guys who left and started new here so it was always fascinating and exciting. There seemed to be something magic about Canada. I wasn't really interested in going to the States
