Margita wanted to start a home-based business that would accommodate her disability.

She contacted SEED Winnipeg* through a referral from the Independent Living Resource Centre.

When Margita was working on her plan to start a market research business, her SEED counsellor asked her to write about her experiences with Family Services and Income Support. After that she started getting other writing assignments.

She now writes on a regular basis for the North End Community Renewal Corporation and works as a freelance broadcaster for CBC Radio.
