The language eligibility criteria to apply for a Masters in Engineering at the University of Manitoba is TOEFL. Foreign students are supposed to take a TOEFL exam even before applying for Masters Program.

I took my TOEFL exam in India before coming to Canada. That sped up my application process a bit and I was able to start the Masters program almost as soon as I arrived.

In addition, I had to clear another spoken and written English test conducted by University of Manitoba within my first semester.
